Since June 2025 the German Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG), which implements the European Accessibility Act, requires many businesses selling to consumers online to make their digital services accessible and to publish a statement about it. The plugin gives you both in one place: a scanner with over 20 automated checks that inspects pages, posts and WooCommerce products for machine-detectable WCAG problems, and a generator for the accessibility statement following Anlage 3 BFSG in German, English and Spanish. All checks run locally in PHP on your server, no cloud, no account, no external requests.

What is inside

• Scanner with over 20 automated WCAG checks: missing alt text, links and buttons without a name, form fields without labels, empty or skipped headings, iframes without titles, data tables without header cells
• Homepage site-level checks: missing lang attribute, blocked zoom, missing main landmark, missing skip link, missing h1
• Traffic-light overview with per-page detail, dashboard widget and an editor metabox with one-click re-check
• Generator for the accessibility statement following Anlage 3 BFSG in German, English and Spanish, with contact and the competent market surveillance authority pre-filled
• New content is re-checked automatically on save
• WooCommerce: published products are included in the scan scope
• Everything runs locally in PHP (WordPress HTML API), no cloud, no account, no API keys, no external requests, fully removed on uninstall
