Business process automation means: whatever comes up every week runs without you. A chat window waits for you to ask. An agent works while you do something else: it gathers the information, checks it against several sources, writes up the result and speaks up when something looks off. Some processes should run exactly the same every time, others should decide for themselves. Both belong here.

FAQ
Business process automation means a recurring workflow in your company runs without you touching it. A request comes in, gets filed, routed and answered without anyone passing it along by hand. Classically a fixed set of rules does that: same path every time, same result. AI adds a step that wasn't possible before, because someone had to read and judge what an email said or what a document was about. The practical difference day to day: not the big overhaul, but two or three workflows that used to cost time every week and now don't.
An automation does exactly the same thing every time, reliable and boring, exactly right for processes that should never deviate. An agent decides for itself what step to take next, and so copes with cases nobody thought through in advance. Often the best solution is a mix: a fixed process on the outside, an agent at the point where judgement is needed.
Only as far as you want it to. For every step we define whether it may act alone or has to present first. Anything that goes outside or moves money is held back by default. You can tighten or loosen that at any time.
The difference is tools and memory. A chat window answers from what it currently knows. An agent calls services, pulls data from several sources, keeps intermediate state and works across multiple steps. A research agent that queries several search services in parallel and cross-checks the results turns up material a single chat answer does not deliver.
Not at the moment. An agent system lives on the ongoing work behind it, and that is hard to put in a fixed box. So we build it as part of a project, tailored to your processes. Individual agents for one clearly defined job are in the works.
