Works in clients that can attach a remote MCP server over HTTP and support signing in through the browser. The connector itself holds no key and no service password.
What is StudioMeyer Memory?
StudioMeyer Memory is an AI memory delivered as an MCP server: a persistent knowledge store that Claude, Cursor, Codex and your own agents share. Instead of every tool starting from zero, Memory keeps facts, decisions and history, searchable, linked and time-aware. You can import existing ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini histories. Memory runs as EU-hosted SaaS. If you want a memory entirely on your own machine instead, that is Local Memory, a separate open-source project with its own feature set.

How it works
Connect your AI client.
Enter the Memory server URL in a supported MCP client and sign in to your own account through OAuth. Other clients can use the same knowledge store after signing in. Available features and additional workflows depend on the selected MCP connection and your client configuration.
Paste this URL into your AI tool, for example Claude Desktop under Connectors.

Security & Privacy
Where your knowledge is stored and processed.
Your saved knowledge is assigned to your account. The primary server and database are hosted by Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Relevant content and search queries may be processed by OpenAI and Anthropic; Resend handles sign-in and service emails, and Sentry technical diagnostics. EU database hosting does not mean all processing takes place in the EU. Known secret patterns are checked, but complete detection of personal or sensitive data is not guaranteed. You can download your Memory account data as JSON. After confirmed cancellation, it is retained for 30 days from the paid period end for export and reactivation, then erased if no other access entitlement remains. How is it different from the built-in memories in ChatGPT or Claude?
Built-in memories are isolated and flat. StudioMeyer Memory is connected, structured and team-ready. Several agents can share the same memory and benefit from each other.
Which AI tools can I use it with?
Almost every common tool that can attach a remote MCP server: Claude (desktop, web and Claude Code), Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and many more. You just paste the memory URL.
How do I connect Memory?
Enter the server URL in the MCP settings of a supported AI client and sign in to your Memory account. Available connections depend on your client interface and account.
How is my data processed?
The primary server and database are hosted by Hetzner in Nuremberg, Germany. Relevant saved content and search queries may be processed by OpenAI for embeddings and by Anthropic for enabled AI features. Resend handles sign-in and service emails, and Sentry technical diagnostics. This does not mean all processing takes place in the EU. Known secret patterns are checked; complete masking of all personal data is not guaranteed. The directory connector does not automatically copy chats or create Memory sessions. Can I import my existing chats?
With the full MCP connection, you can explicitly provide chat histories from ChatGPT, Claude and other tools for import. The directory connector does not import chat histories or copy conversations automatically. Only provide content you want to save and have permission to use.
What happens if I cancel?
After confirmed cancellation, you can use Memory until the end of the already paid billing period. You then have 30 days to download your account data as JSON or reactivate with your existing data. Your Memory account and its stored data are then automatically erased if no other access entitlement remains. Free accounts and continuing lifetime entitlements do not receive this cancellation deadline. For questions about your data, backups or diagnostic records, contact hello@studiomeyer.io.
