# An AI system that sits in your own building.

Most AI services send your data to someone else's computers. There is another way: a machine in your office or home that runs your AI system. Your documents stay where they are. You own the hardware. And you don't pay per question you ask. The model on a machine like that is smaller than the big ones in the cloud. For everyday work it goes surprisingly far, and where it doesn't, we say so.

## What a local system is made of

Not everything has to be there from day one. Most systems start with memory and company knowledge, then grow.

A memory

It remembers conversations, decisions and connections, and still knows next time what it was about.

Your company knowledge

Contracts, quotes, minutes, manuals. The system reads your documents and answers from them instead of guessing.

Tools it is allowed to use

You decide what it may do: draft mails, sort files, track appointments, write reports.

Eyes and ears (optional)

Cameras and microphones can be connected. In the fully local configuration the raw recordings never leave the network in the building. Remote access or cloud analysis are possible but are agreed explicitly and then written into the quote.

Operated from the app you already have

You talk to the system through a familiar AI app on your computer or phone. No new interface to learn.

Keeps itself running

Updates, backups and self-checks happen in the background. You don't need an IT person on site.

## Frequently asked

What does local actually mean here?

That the machine stands with you, in your office or home, and belongs to you. Not a rented server in a data centre that is merely called local. The difference matters: with a rented server your data still sits with a provider.

Is a system like that weaker than ChatGPT?

In raw model strength, yes. The model on your machine is smaller than what the large providers run in their data centres. In exchange your system knows your documents, your processes and your history, and in daily work that beats raw model strength surprisingly often. Where real thinking power matters, a strong model can be brought in for that specific job.

Does my data really stay in the building?

The parts that run locally work with your data on the machine at your place. That is the most data-sparing form possible. If you additionally switch on a strong cloud model, we tell you beforehand exactly which data leaves the building, and you decide whether you want that.

What does such a system cost?

That depends on the hardware and on what the system should be able to do. We clarify both in the intro call, and you get a concrete quote before anything is purchased. What goes away are the running per-request costs that cloud services charge.

Does it need the internet?

Not for the local part. It keeps working even when the line is down. You need internet for updates and for anything you deliberately connect to the outside.

Do you run this yourselves?

Yes. We build these systems for ourselves first and work with them daily before we put one in front of anyone. So what you read here is something we actually operate, not a brochure.
