Growth · Local SEO

# Get found when someone searches nearby.

We connect your website, your Google Business Profile, reviews and local company details into one unambiguous presence. So people understand what you offer, where you work and how they can reach you: on Google Maps, in local search and increasingly in AI answers too.

For businesses on Mallorca and anywhere else where location decides whether an inquiry comes in.

[Talk about local visibility](https://studiomeyer.io/en/contact)[What is included](#konkret)

More than a website

## Google assembles your business from several sources.

Anyone looking for a restaurant in Palma, a real estate agent in Santa Ponsa or a contractor nearby does not just see classic website results. Maps, opening hours, reviews, photos, phone numbers and directions often come first.

Google and AI systems compare information from several sources for this. If your name, address, services or opening hours are listed differently everywhere, no clear picture emerges. If everything matches, your business can be classified with more confidence.

Local SEO therefore does not mean copying the same company listing into a hundred directories. It means keeping the right local signals complete, current and connected.

Becoming locally unambiguous

## Profile, website and external signals must show the same business.

### Google Business Profile

Category, services, description, opening hours, contact details, photos and updates must match the actual business. We review and optimize the listing without sneaking artificial details or search terms into the business name.

### Local website structure

The website must clearly show where you are based, which regions you serve and which service is available where. If there are several real locations or clearly separate markets, we develop an understandable structure for them.

### Reviews and external profiles

Reviews, industry profiles, map and assistant services help search systems classify your business. We check which platforms really matter for your industry and region and reconcile contradictory details.

Ongoing local visibility

## No directory spam. Work in the places customers actually see.

Depending on the starting point, support can include:

- analysis of your Google Business Profile
- choosing the right primary and secondary categories
- a clear presentation of services and service area
- checking name, address, phone number and website links
- keeping regular and special opening hours up to date
- optimizing description, services, photos and posts
- connecting the website and the business profile
- local service and location pages
- structured location and company data on the website
- reviewing relevant map, industry and review profiles
- cleaning up contradictory or outdated company details
- a sensible approach to getting genuine customer reviews
- templates and support for professional replies to reviews
- evaluating calls, website clicks, direction requests and contact actions, where available
- watching local competitors and new search opportunities

We do not automatically create hundreds of listings. The quality and clarity of the relevant profiles matter more than the number.

Your profile stays yours

## We support you. We do not take over your company's identity.

A Google Business Profile or a listing with a large map service can require verification, for example by video, phone, mail or with business documents. The actual owner has to carry out this verification.

Reviews also have to come from real customers. We help set up a clean process for asking for reviews and for replying professionally. We do not buy reviews, create fake profiles or promise to manipulate local results.

You keep ownership of and main access to your accounts. If we provide ongoing support, we only get the permissions needed for it.

One place, several audiences

## Local search on Mallorca happens in more than one language.

A business on Mallorca can be searched for at the same time by Spanish customers, German-speaking residents and international guests. These people do not automatically use the same terms or expect the same information.

That is why we look separately at:

- which audiences are actually relevant
- which languages they search in
- which services have a clear local connection
- which towns, municipalities or regions are really served
- whether a page for a place gets genuine content of its own

We do not create mass location pages where only the town name is swapped. A local page should answer a real question and have a traceable connection to the business.

Our process

## From a listing to a connected presence.

1. ### Local assessment

We check the website, Google Business Profile, map and industry profiles, reviews, contact details and the local presence of the main competitors.

2. ### Sort out data and access

We record which details are binding, which profiles belong to the business and where verifications or permissions are needed.

3. ### Improve profile and website

We optimize the relevant profiles, correct contradictions and add the content and structured data to the website that are missing for local classification.

4. ### Keep it up to date

Opening hours, services, photos, reviews and locations change. We follow the development and work out the next sensible steps from local search and contact data.

Location-dependent demand

## Worth it when proximity, region or visits play a role.

Local SEO is particularly suitable for:

- restaurants, cafés and bars
- hotels, fincas and vacation rentals
- real estate agents
- medical practices and law firms
- trades and service businesses
- shops and showrooms
- boat schools, yacht and tour operators
- businesses with several real locations
- service providers with a clear regional service area

For a purely digital offer without a location, the SEO service is usually more important.

## Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between local SEO and normal SEO?

Organic SEO focuses on relevant search topics and classic website results. Local SEO also takes into account maps, distance, location data, your Google Business Profile, reviews and local relevance. For many businesses the two areas work together.

Can you take over my Google Business Profile completely?

With your approval we can analyze it, optimize it and support it on an ongoing basis. The owner verification and certain sensitive changes have to be carried out by the business itself. Your profile stays under your control and your main access.

Do I need a business address?

For a business that customers visit, a real, correctly listed address is important. Service providers who go to their customers can use a service area depending on the business model and hide their private address. Virtual addresses and places where no real business operates are not a clean foundation.

Do more reviews automatically help rankings?

Reviews are an important trust and local signal, but not the only factor. Relevance, distance, completeness, the website, categories and other signals also play a role. We focus on an honest process for genuine reviews rather than an artificial number.

Do you also reply to reviews?

That can be part of the support. Replies should be individual, professional and in the customer's language. Complaints are not covered up with standard texts but answered in a way that lets an outsider understand the business's attitude.

Does local SEO work for several locations?

Yes, if they are real locations with their own local significance. Then profiles, pages, contact details and responsibilities need a clear structure. A list of invented or merely nominal locations would not be a sustainable strategy.

How long does it take for changes to become visible?

Correct data and profile improvements can sometimes show quickly. Stable progress in competitive local results usually takes longer. Region, industry, existing reviews, distance and competition affect the result. A particular spot on the map cannot be guaranteed.

Do you only work on Mallorca?

No. StudioMeyer has its office in Palma and knows the multilingual local market on Mallorca particularly well. But local SEO can be done for any business with a clear city, region or genuine service area.
